On Cinema Live! Houston Concert reviews
Slow start then got better, but would not repeat
The show finally came onto the stage with a stand-up routine involving humor surrounding his 2 year old twin boys. If we were still in the stage of having young toddlers, the humor might have been more appealing to us personally. Jeff introduced a new character named Bob, portrayed as a Trump advisor, in a moderately amusing skit. We have seen about 6 of his shows on cable and this is the third time we have seen one of his stage shows. The show was very slow to start, and we were surprised at the nature and extent of the content. However, we probably will not lay down hard-earned money for a repeat performance if the material continues to be dad-humor or snarky ex-wife bashing comments. The chairs down on the floor were very uncomfortable at the Yum Center venue in Louisville, so we will go back to the stadium seating for future events. We give the show 3 stars out of 5 for average, and the Yum Center venue in Louisville a 4 out of 5 stars.
